1. Download the Firmware Updater from faceVsion Website.

You can also click here to directly download the update software.
 
2. Double-click on the updater icon to launch it.
 
3. Click [Next] to go to next step.

1. Plug the FV TouchCam™ N1 into your computer’s USB 2.0 High Speed port.

2. Once done, the Updater will automatically detect your FV TouchCam™ N1’s firmware version, click [Next].

 
3. If firmware update is needed for your FV TouchCam™ N1, the Updater will lead you to next step. If your FV TouchCam™ N1 has already installed with the latest firmware, a window will pop up and alert that there is no new firmware available. If so, please follow the instruction in the Updater to exit the program.

1. Ensure the required actions have been done, tick the checkboxes and click on [Next].

1. Read through the terms and conditions carefully, tick on [I acknowledge….] to accept the terms and conditions. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions, you can click on [Cancel] to exit the program.  
     
2. If you choose to continue, click on [Update] will start firmware update process.

1. The firmware will take less than 1 minute to update, when the progress bar reaches 100%, a message will show to inform you that the update process is done.  
   
2. Unplug and re-plug FV TouchCam N1 back to your computer. Now, the [Current Version] will match with the [Update Version]; press [Next] to continue.

1. The firmware update process is now completed. You can choose to restart your computer now or in a later time. After you made your selection, click on [Finish] to exit the program. (It is suggested to restart your computer right after the firmware update.)
