New HD VideoCam + ExpressCard Solution for Laptops Users in True HD Video Communications for Consumers with Genuine HD Video Chatting Over the Internet

Fremont, Calif. March 24, 2010 – faceVsion Techology USA, a world-class manufacturer of HD video communication products for consumers and business, today announced general availability of the highly anticipated FVexpress Combo 720p HD web VideoCam + Express card solution for laptop computer users shown in January at the annual Consumer Electronics Show. The faceVsion FVexpress Combo is a compact HD VideoCam and express card kit that offers users a true 720p HD video chat experience using Google Talk and faceVsion’s QuLives™ communications manager application. Compared with other “HD” webcams that can only transmit HD locally, the FVexpress Combo delivers full motion 30fps 720p video over the Internet for an unparalleled video chatting experience so real, it’s like being there.

The FVexpress Combo includes a compact faceVsion FV TouchCam™ L1 HD video camera with a wide-angle 28mm up to 75 degree field-of-view lens and advanced auto-focus/auto-brightness control and is the recipient of the 2010 iF Design Award. The kit also includes an FVexpress card which slides into a laptop’s Express34 or mini PCIe card slot and provides on-board hardware H.264 encoding of the HD video stream before being transmitted over the Internet. The included QuLives communication manager software application works seamlessly with Google Talk to manage HD video chatting sessions including importing of Google Talk contacts, recording chat sessions, and more.

“Friends and family can easily stay in touch with 2-way life-like HD video chatting. Businesses can get more done with HD video calls while saving money on travel” said Ping Liu, President of faceVsion Technology USA. “Simply purchasing a low-cost FVexpress Combo kit for each user and having a reliable Internet connection enables friends, family, even business to communicate with crystal clear, full motion video chats.” Mr. Liu added.
